Our Score
Disney revisits an old favourite for a new generation of youngsters with this, the first big-screen outing in 35 years for AA Milne's most famous creation. And a real honey this Winnie is, too: bright, breezy and blissfully 2D. It's narrated by John Cleese and the voice cast is led by Jim Cummings, who has provided the voices of Pooh and Tigger on video and DVD since 1990. However, at barely an hour long, perhaps it doesn't represent the best value in moviegoing money. The film combines new songs with familiar storylines: Pooh hunts for honey; Eeyore hunts his tail; and everyone hunts the Hundred Acre Wood for the creature that Owl mistakenly thinks has carried off Christopher Robin. It's thoroughly traditional and, like Pooh himself, it's warm, whimsical - and short.

Summary

The honey-loving bear and his friends try to find a replacement for Eeyore's missing tail, but are soon distracted by a mysterious note from Christopher Robin. Misunderstanding the message, they go in search of an infamous monster. Animated adventure, narrated by John Cleese and featuring the voices of Jim Cummings and Jack Boulter.
