How to watch The Zone of Interest in the UK – can you stream it?

Jonathan Glazer's latest film has won the United Kingdom its first-ever Academy Award for Best International Feature at the Oscars 2024.
The Zone of Interest is one of the more difficult-to-watch films at this year’s Academy Awards and follows Rudolf Höss (Christian Friedel), a Nazi officer who was the longest-serving commandant of Auschwitz. Höss was hanged in 1947 at the age of 45, after being convicted of war crimes.
The movie never actually ventures inside the concentration camp itself, instead focusing on Höss’s seemingly idyllic family life with his wife Hedwig (Sandra Hüller) and their five children on the outskirts of Auschwitz and the atrocities therein.
In his acceptance speech, Glazer linked the film’s subject to the ongoing conflict in Gaza
“All our choices were made to reflect and confront us in the present,” Glazer told the audience. “Our film shows where dehumanisation leads at its worst.”

Where to watch The Zone of Interest in the UK
You can watch The Zone of Interest in UK cinemas. The film landed in the UK on 2nd February 2024.
The movie made its debut at the Cannes Film Festival back in May 2023 and was released on 15th December in the US.
You can also purchase The Zone of Interest on Apple TV, Amazon Video, Google Play Movies, Sky Store, YouTube and other digital platforms.

Is Zone of Interest available to stream?
Sadly, The Zone of Interest is not yet available to stream on any platform.
The film is expected to come to Max in the US as part of a new deal made between A24 and Warner Bros Discovery back in December 2023.
However, it's unclear how much of a gap there will be between the film's cinema release and its streaming debut in the US.
In the UK, fans can expect The Zone of Interest to come to Prime Video, but again, a streaming release date is yet to be announced.
