Review

When a right-wing politician demands tough penalties for child criminals, Birgitte's odious spin-doctor Kasper flashes back to profoundly upsetting events in his childhood, and we learn quite a lot more about why he’s such a narcissistic commitment-phobe. The storytelling is clunky, but it’s still powerful stuff.

Summary

The right wing submits a bill that lowers the age of criminal responsibility from 14 to 12, heightening the internal strife among the coalition partners. Several of the Labour Party members support the proposal, leaving Birgitte in the minority in parliament. At home, she struggles to deal with her daughter's illness, and in particular the treatment being recommended. Drama, starring Sidse Babett Knudsen, Birgitte Hjort Sorensen and Pilou Asbaek. In Danish.
