Readers who remember Beat the Clock, the Sunday Night at the London Palladium game, will recall just how tense that could be. This new daily quiz show, which started on Monday, promises to be even more nerve-shredding.
Six contestants have to answer quick-fire questions against the clock. The more time they’re in control of the game, the more money they can win. But they also run the risk of time running out. Whoever’s playing when the clock stops loses. The twist is that nobody but the audience at home knows how
long is left on the clock. Not even presenter Rory Bremner.
Tense, fast-paced quiz show hosted by Rory Bremner in which six contestants are challenged to execute perfect timing. Hopefuls must devise the best strategy to secure the cash prize as no one knows how much time is remaining to give their answers.
