That Simon Cowell just loves a performing dog. So when Ashleigh Butler and her dancing Pudsey won Britain’s Got Talent in May, he announced with great satisfaction that his work was done. Not quite. His production company has now made a special show featuring some of Britain’s most talented four-legged friends.
Among them is a pair of Jack Russell terriers who think they’re Fred and Ginger, and deaf Henry who is more cha-cha-cha than chihuahua. Dog-lovers Sharon Osbourne, Bill Bailey and Ashleigh (with assorted canine companions including Pudsey) are the judges debating which one should be top dog.
Christine Bleakley hosts a one-off entertainment spectacular featuring some of the nation's most talented dancing dogs. They and their twinkle-toed owners perform unique routines in front of a celebrity panel made up of Sharon Osbourne, Bill Bailey and Ashleigh Butler who, along with her pet Pudsey, will also be demonstrating the skills that saw them win this year's Britain's Got Talent. The judges pick their favourite three acts, but it is left to the studio audience to decide who takes home the coveted That Dog Can Dance! trophy.
