Series 1 - Episode 4



Stevie Parle and Emma Grazette head to the Caribbean island of Grenada to find out more about nutmeg, the country's main export. They find out locals use the spice in their daily cooking, that it symbolises national pride and is an ingredient in two traditional dishes served only to men because it is believed to have aphrodisiac qualities. The presenters also create nutmeg roast chicken with squash and spinach, fiery jerk spiced pork, and creamy buttermilk puddings with honey nutmeg peaches.
