Summary

The conclusion of a documentary chronicling the life of heavyweight champion boxer Jack Johnson. Five years after gaining his title, Johnson was convicted for a spurious offence and sentenced to a year's imprisonment by an all-white jury. He skipped bail and lived in France, before returning to the US in 1920 and serving his time. While in prison, he crafted a wrench tool, which he later patented. His release also saw a return to the ring.
