That clean-cut and handsome chap Ronan Keating is Morgan’s guest and there will be much to discuss. Not just Keating’s chart-topping new album, Fires, and his collaboration with Burt Bacharach, but more painfully personal matters. After years of enjoying a squeaky-clean image Keating torpedoed his 14-year marriage by having an affair with a backing dancer, though apparently he has “found love” again.
After years of being a well-liked member of Boyzone, the boy band put together by Louis Walsh in 1993, being served up as a gossip item must have come as a shock to Keating, and is one that Morgan will doubtless probe while wearing his sympathetic face.
The pop star reflects on his life and career in the music industry, including his success with Boyzone and his anguish over the 2009 death of bandmate Stephen Gately. He also talks about the affair that led to the end of his marriage, and performs a track from his album Fires.
