There are still, probably, some cooks who insist on putting their brussels sprouts on to boil sometime during Christmas Eve afternoon. However, Gino d’Acampo and Mel Sykes have started their Christmas dinner preparations even earlier because these shows were filmed back in August. Still they don’t have any problem getting into the festive mood.
Today they’re sharing a recipe for ham baked in cola and making gravy that can be frozen and used later. Popping in to see them is Christopher Biggins, no slouch when it comes to cooking – he won Celebrity Come Dine with Me in 2009.
