These are terrible days for Robert and Maja Zeuthen, thrown together after an acrimonious break-up by awful circumstances, the kidnapping of their daughter Emilie. Last week Robert offered himself to Emilie’s abductor; this week he pitches all of his company Zeeland’s considerable resources into the hunt. His board of directors isn’t happy, but there are signs of a breakthrough when a witness comes forward.
Of course, the police need all the help they can get. Detectives Borch and Lund’s working relationship is on a knife-edge after their trip to Jutland, but maybe good news is on the horizon. But it seems no one is free from suspicion when the prime minister finds himself in the spotlight.
Robert and Maja harbour hopes that Emilie may still be alive and Zeeland throw all their resources into tracking her down, while a secret is revealed from an unlikely source within the family. Borch and Lund have a hard time shaking off their Jutland experience, with their working relationship suffering as a result, and police run checks on Ussing's movements over the past couple of years. Danish drama, starring Sofie Grabol.
