The word “debt” hovers darkly over
III; the kidnapper of little Emilie insists she will not be handed over safely until this debt is paid. But, awkwardly, he is leaving Sarah Lund and her team, and Emilie’s distraught parents, to work out what is driving him. What does he want? What must be repaid?
It’s another double bill of episodes that will pull you into its gloomy embrace as the hunt for Emilie becomes ever more deeply entwined with Danish politics, while nervy PM Kamper makes a dramatic decision. Meanwhile, Emilie’s father Robert prepares to make a bold move, while Lund and her partner Borch are led to Jutland, where they are both at risk.
Police are led to the Jutland region by their investigation. Here, Borch and Lund make an eerie discovery and find themselves in danger. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Kamper hesitates in implementing his decision following doubts about Emilie's fate, and it comes to light that Ussing has been harbouring a secret. Danish drama, starring Sofie Grabol.
