Review

On a second visit to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall in Falmouth, the Roadshow uncovers a touching story of life and death on the high seas. One visitor brings a postcard sent by a relative as he excitedly set sail on the Titanic; another shows a cigarette case, a present given in grateful thanks by a surviving passenger to her saviour, the captain of the rescue vessel the RMS Carpathia.

Elsewhere, a portable piece of Barbara Hepworth sculpture causes ripples of delight (“This is a seriously exciting find,” squeals the expert) and, probably more importantly, we discover Bunny Campione’s real name. And why she’s called “Bunny”.
