The art world’s version of Dragons’ Den and The X Factor, this follows
mainly amateur artists as they vie to get a piece of their work exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London and, hopefully, sold for a fortune.
First, though, they have to face the “hanging committee” of David Lee, Roy Bolton and Charlotte Mullins, three critics who do not mince their words if they don’t like what they see.
This first edition features the work of a forklift-truck driver and a university lecturer, while later in the week an English literature student, a jazz musician and a full-time mum hope to impress the trio.
Artists seek approval from critics Charlotte Mullins, David Lee and Roy Bolton in a bid to secure a place in a prestigious exhibition and sale at the Mall Galleries in London. This edition features a former costumer designer, a forklift-truck driver and a university lecturer. Presented by Chris Hollins.
