It’s very James May that one of his favourite cars is the humble Fiat Panda. For some years he owned one and sang its praises as a cheap-and-cheerful, no-nonsense motor. So what will he make of its latest incarnation? May also tests the ludicrous-sounding Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring, while Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond get the glamour assignment: directing the car chases for the forthcoming Sweeney film remake, with stars Ray Winstone and Ben Drew (aka rapper Plan B).
In the studio, actor Ryan Reynolds, star of Green Lantern and Safe House, takes the wheel of the Reasonably Priced Car.
Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond take charge of shooting a car chase for a film version of The Sweeney, assisting with the stunt-driving choreography and the direction of lead actors Ray Winstone and Ben Drew. James May takes the Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring for a run around the test track, and delivers his verdict on the updated Fiat Panda. Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.
