This is the pantomime dame of Christmas cookery shows.
Festooned with tinsel, stuffed with naughty jokes about shaking your nuts (spicy macadamia ones, that is) and definitely getting into the festive spirit with a wicked Christmas pudding-flavoured vodka, it also has Hairy Bikers Si King and Dave Myers dressed as fairies, ho-ho-hoing and bursting into song as they rustle up party food to say thank you to all the people they’ve met during their culinary travels. This calls for elegant canapés (elegant? Si and Dave?): mini ploughman’s lunches, sherry trifles in shot glasses and turkey vindaloo in a cone.
Best of all, Wizzard’s Roy Wood is one of their guests -startlingly, he looks exactly as he did on Top of the Pops back in 1973.
Si King and Dave Myers plan a festive get-together for the people they have met during their TV adventures - but while promising plenty of food and drink, they decide there will be no turkey and trimmings, focusing instead on the best party food they can prepare. So begins a UK-wide search for canapes, mini-desserts, Thai treats and Indian delights, before they build the ultimate centrepiece for the party - a vodka ice luge - and turn their venue into a winter wonderland ready for their guests to arrive.
