Review

Alan Davies penned and stars in this autobiographical short. The curmudgeonly comedian finds himself lumbered with his father’s Alsatian after a messy run-in with the next-door neighbour’s Sheltie. John Sessions makes a cameo playing a fabulously poker-faced canine psychiatrist as Davies and dog bury their differences.

Summary

The comedian takes his father's Alsatian for a walk and after a sinister turn of events is charged under the Dangerous Dogs Act. Alan and the pooch bond when he has to look after it while he awaits the court hearing, and the dog impresses on its rehabilitation programme. Autobiographical comedy short, written by and starring Alan Davies, with Sheridan Smith and John Sessions.
