Peel yourself a chestnut, here’s the mellow concert of the season. Joining Carole King, who has a new album out that’s stuffed with Christmas songs, is Sheffield pop crooner Richard Hawley. Hawley is promising to wrap his languid baritone around Silent Night as well as some of his own gorgeous ballads.

Other acts getting in the Christmas mood are the Puppini Sisters, the Mummers and New York-based cool jazz singer Gregory Porter.

The singer-songwriter performs festive favourites at a concert that also features Sheffield crooner Richard Hawley, retro vocal trio the Puppini Sisters, Brighton group the Mummers, and New York jazz vocalist Gregory Porter. Among the songs on the bill are Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Silent Night, Let It Snow, White Christmas and The Christmas Song.
