Mock the Week
has become less a topical panel show and more a platform for stand-up comedians to promote their live acts. But it’s none the worse for that and there are regular flashes of comedic gold. The “if this is the answer, what is the question?” and the “scenes we’d like to see” rounds are gifts for those with a talent for snappy one-liners.
Russell Howard may have moved on but new(ish) to the show is Chris Addison who has, according to the show’s publicity blurb, turned down Dancing on Ice, Celebrity Big Brother and The Only Way is Essex to take part. Joining him is host Dara O Briain (funny enough to shoulder the show on his own) as well as regulars Hugh Dennis and Andy Parsons.
Guests Micky Flanagan, Nathan Caton and Stewart Francis join Hugh Dennis, Andy Parsons and Chris Addison for a 2011 edition of the comedy quiz show, hosted by Dara O Briain.
