Gold’s most ambitious original content to date is an amiable comedy that blends the trends for transport-based murder and... things set in Blackpool, with a cast of stars as long as a Victorian promenade.
Johnny Vegas plays the coach driver tasked with ferrying around a motley band of tourists, including hammy novelist Griff Rhys Jones and suspiciously suave doctor Nigel Havers. They're a bunch of uptight weirdos, of course, but who could be uptight enough to bump off mouthy-but-harmless pensioner Marge? With a coronation chicken bap. You have to admit it's an original murder weapon, although I'd have used egg mayonnaise myself.
Feature-length comedy about a crime writer (Griff Rhys Jones) who takes a group of his fans on a coach tour of locations from his books. The bus is soon leaving a string of bodies in its wake, and the passengers are faced with the possibility of a murderer in their midst. With Johnny Vegas, Nigel Havers and Una Stubbs.
