Summary
Review
The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is the latest five-star hotel to open its doors to TV cameras. You’d think that paying upwards of £450 per night (it’s £750 for a room with a view of Hyde Park and £1,440 for a suite) would mean your room would come with a little privacy, and that the royals, celebrities and super-rich who apparently frequent this exclusive Knightsbridge hotel would object to the intrusion. Well, more fool them.
For those of us who will never have the pleasure, it’s good fun seeing how the staff scramble to cater for a royal guest from overseas.
