Review

Touker Suleyman looks like he’s auditioning for the Freemasons at one point. He rolls up a trouser leg to sample the “intimate waxing system” for which Jemma from Nottingham seeks investment. Those moments when the Dragons get to try out a product for themselves don’t always work out well, as a Lancashire inventor discovers when he gives Peter Jones one of his exciting new biodegradable cable ties. It’s a product the world needs, but has he cracked it?

Another inventor in the den is more of a natural entrepreneur. Rob has been sleeping on his office floor for a year while he develops his fluorescent T-shirts. And commitment like that makes the Dragons’ eyes light up.

Summary

Evan Davis ushers another batch of would-be entrepreneurs before the panel's judgment. An inventor who claims to have created a new kind of surfboard and a parachute for Nasa reveals his idea for transforming the garden shed, Touker Suleyman agrees to road test a waxing product, and one applicant makes a shocking revelation as he tells the story of sleeping on his office floor.
