Review

The many personae of pop’s chameleon are unfurled before our eyes in this one-hour sprint through 50 years. From long-haired David Jones in suit and tie, to the jumpsuit-and-boxer-boots years and on into a future of pierrots and goblins. The reinventions have been described to death, but the music is the thing. Thrill again to brotherly Bowie and Ronson at the mic together, or the soaring sunshine of Starman, and relive the thespian era of John Merrick and Mr Lawrence. It was a career of simply breathtaking variety and craft.

Summary
