Art mirrors life in the most tragic way on tonight’s
when Michelle (Kym Marsh) gives birth to her baby boy, knowing that he’s too underdeveloped to survive. Actress Marsh (who herself gave birth to stillborn son Archie in 2009) has been working in conjunction with Corrie’s writers on the storyline, which is sure to make for heartrending viewing.
Obviously, Steve (Simon Gregson) and Michelle are both left utterly bereft as they cradle their dead boy, but – this being soap – you can also expect the ramifications to affect a pregnant Leanne (Jane Danson), once she learns of the horrendous events by the end of the week.
Steve and Michelle's world crumbles, and after presenting Dev and Zeedan with a warrant addressed to Sharif, the bailiffs start removing the gym equipment. Meanwhile, Peter tells Toyah of Eva's threat to reveal all to Leanne, and Phelan makes it clear to Andy that if he fails in his mission, Steph will be made to suffer.
