The last time Norton’s “favourite person” Carrie Fisher was on this show, she brought her dog Gary along and he caused havoc cruising around between the legs of the sofa. No confirmation he’ll be there with her this time.
Instead it’s a potentially sparky line-up of Grayson Perry (an always sharply articulate guest), Sandi Toksvig (ditto) and Bake Off’s Nadiya Hussain, who will hopefully get the occasional word in edgeways.
Carrie Fisher, forever remembered as Princess Leia in Star Wars, graces the sofa to talk about her new book The Princess Diarist. Alongside her is controversial artist Grayson Perry, who has a book of his own to promote - The Descent of Man. Plus, appearances by new QI presenter Sandi Toksvig and Great British Bake Off favourite Nadiya Hussain. The host also subjects more audience members to the dreaded red chair - so their stories had better be good.
