Even better than peeking inside a celebrity’s home is having a personally guided tour of everywhere they’ve lived. Nigel Havers is the first to invite us over the threshold of his various homes.

He got off to a pretty good start: aged 15 he lived in central London, where his barrister father (who once defended the Rolling Stones) had a flat. Interestingly Havers admits that the biggest house he owned was “very grand but I didn’t enjoy living in it” - presumably because of a personal tragedy at this time. What’s clear is that the emotion attached to each place is worth much more than the bricks and mortar.

Famous faces revisit their former homes to share their memories and secrets from when they lived there, beginning with actor Nigel Havers. He goes to the London flat where he lived when he got his first professional job aged 15, and where Mick Jagger and Keith Richards attended a celebratory party in 1967 after Nigel's father Michael Havers QC represented them at the Court of Appeal. He also goes to the basement flat in Fulham where he was living when he got his first big break in BBC mini-series A Horseman Riding By.
