Summary
When Dennis Flynn is killed only hours after his arrest during a prison transfer ordered by a U.S. Senator, Peter suspects foul play. It turns out that before Senator Pratt ran for office, he was a police captain in D.C. during the time Ellen and Neal's father were on the force. If Pratt was a dirty cop on Flynn's payroll, he would likely have been someone Ellen was investigating. But taking on a U.S. Senator is nothing to be taken lightly, and Peter and Neal will have to work outside the system in order to stay one step ahead of Pratt.
