After the fireball of sound and fury billowing from last week’s debut, Chris Evans and co still have a series to make. This week that involves getting a trio of music stars – Sharleen Spiteri, Seasick Steve and Tinie Tempah – to help with an SUV test in South Africa. Back at the track, Damian Lewis is this week's Star in a Rallycross Car, while Jenson Button gives Evans a ride in the McLaren 675LT.
But there’s still a smoky whiff of controversy…Tonight was supposed to see the launch on BBC2 of the bolt-on sidecar show
Extra Gear with Rory Reid taking us behind the scenes – until it was pulled from schedules at the last minute. Are the skid marks starting to show?
