“One collects them, the other executes them,” observes Larry with a sneer as he surveys youngest brother Gerry’s expanding menagerie of wildlife along with the victims of Leslie’s hunting expeditions. And it’s Leslie’s gun-toting activities that are causing the most grief around the island of Corfu. His “friends” Sotos and Fotis may sound like a comedy duo, but they get Leslie involved in something that’s potentially rather serious.
On a more light-hearted note, Margo finds a handsome new object for her youthful lust at the Countess Mavrodaki’s and Louisa makes some headway with her monosyllabic Scandinavian neighbour. This Sunday-night escapism is as warming as the Corfu sun.
Leslie falls in with a bad crowd and ends up being falsely accused of armed robbery, prompting Louisa to take desperate measures to save him. Margo takes a shine to a gardener at the Villa Mavrodaki, Captain Creech returns, and the family realises the extent of Gerry's passion for animals when he turns his bedroom into a centre for scientific learning. Guest starring Leslie Caron.
