Our old friend, the search engine Chumhum, is in trouble again when the owner of a restaurant claims she went bust because of its racist profiling of her business’s location.
Defence counsellor Louis Canning (Michael J Fox) calls in Alicia Florrick and Lucca Quinn, but it’s really Lucca (Cush Jumbo) he’s after as Canning’s law firm, is, as he puts it, too “pale”.
It’s an episode that ticks over rather than drives us forward, though there are some big hints about the dark side of Alicia’s creepy investigator, Jason.
But that’s hardly a surprise. Still, there are highlights for lovers of made-up, prissy American television “swear words” with two more “bullcraps”.
Alicia and Lucca help Louis defend the ChumHum website accusations of racial profiling in its mapping systems, and Eli tries to figure out the full nature of Alicia and Jason's relationship - and what impact it might have on Peter's political campaign.
