Sue Barker presents live coverage from the All England Club as the fourth day's play continues, with the second-round singles matches expected on court, including Serena Williams v Chanelle Scheepers, Angelique Kerber v Heather Watson and Lukas Rosol v Rafael Nadal. After a number of leading players had already been eliminated by this stage last year, there was some semblance of reality restored with the straight-sets victories secured by the men's and ladies' number one seeds, Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams. Djokovic was met with early resistance by Bobby Reynolds, who took the Serb to a tie-break in the first set, but once that was safely negotiated, the rest of the match proved one-sided. Williams was even more dominant as she continued the defence of her title, brushing aside the challenge of qualifier Caroline Garcia for the loss of just five games.
