Documentary looking back at the 1974 World Cup, which was staged in West Germany, and the first to feature the new FIFA World Cup Trophy after Brazil were awarded the Jules Rimet Trophy for their third victory four years earlier. Scotland provided the sole British representation, but were eliminated at the group stage without losing a match, while the host nation went on to lift the trophy, despite losing to East Germany in their group, and conceding a penalty to the Netherlands after just one minute of the final.
