This is a rare treat: electrifying footage of a young Quincy Jones in concert, as he leads a dream roster of musicians through arguably one of the finest examples of big-band jazz ever to be captured on film.

The only recordings of the legendary composer/conductor/producer’s 1960 tour of North America and Europe, these two concerts shot in Switzerland and Belgium feature an 18-piece orchestra of world-class groovers such as Clark Terry, Phil Woods, Sahib Shihab, Budd Johnson and Benny Bailey.

Even if jazz isn’t your bag, the sheer force of their musicianship may blow you away.
