This fly-on-the-wall series was one of the surprise hits of last year thanks to the larger-than-life CEO Nev Wilshire – a real-life David Brent. This second series once again finds him on dubious form. “The nipple test is a good method for evaluating the concentration of the call centre agent,” he says, pouncing on an employee in a manner that would precipitate a lawsuit in most companies.
We meet his son, whose only duty as commercial director is to organise a table tennis tournament, and there’s the obligatory karaoke session that proves too much for one of the new recruits (or, as Nev prefers to call them, “victims”).
The company's CEO Nev Wilshire begins to hire new staff again after suffering a bad year at the business. Despite being banned by HR from giving interviews, he grills a potential new recruit, while commercial director Phil comes up with an idea to lift his colleague's spirits.
