It’s becoming a new year’s tradition – every January we can expect another exemplary 3D documentary from David Attenborough and Sky.

This time the nation’s favourite naturalist copies Ben Stiller and spends a night at the museum with the long-extinct exhibits at the Natural History Museum in London magically coming to life.

Shot by the same 3D team that worked on the critically acclaimed film Gravity, the documentary sees Attenborough travelling back through time to offer a fascinating insight into our prehistoric planet as he investigates the lives of these strange creatures from millions of years ago, meeting and interacting with dinosaurs, giant reptiles and the dodo.

The broadcaster invites viewers to join him as he takes an after-hours stroll around one of his favourite places, the Natural History Museum. But this is no ordinary tour as some of the many exhibits spring to life as the veteran naturalist strolls along.
