Summary

Chris Lintott and the team use the Liverpool and Isaac Newton telescopes on La Palma in the Canary Islands to look for Comet Ison, which has travelled from the edge of the solar system and made a pass around the sun at the end of November. However, there is intense speculation over whether it will develop a tail of vaporised gas and water or break apart due to its proximity to the star. With Chris North, Pete Lawrence and Paul Abel.
