Amateur metal detectorist Terry Herbert talks about his July 2009 discovery of a hoard of Anglo-Saxon treasure worth £3.3million in a field near Lichfield in Staffordshire. The programme also hears from Fred Johnson - the farmer who owned the land - the archaeologists who later excavated the site, and the experts from the Birmingham and British Museums who realised the international significance of the collection - the largest of its kind ever found in Britain.
