National League side York City host Wigan Athletic on Friday evening, as the second round of the FA Cup gets underway.
It will be the first meeting between the pair since 1999, when they were both Football League clubs, with the prize a place in the third round draw and the potential of a tie with one of the Premier League's big guns.
The Minstermen have enjoyed an underwhelming start to the 2023/24 campaign, sitting 19th in the National League and requiring replays to get past teams below them in the pyramid in the previous rounds - but look to be on the up, having lost just one of their last seven games.
