Meanwhile, Betty struggles with an unwelcome and persistent visitor who hopes to goad her into making good on a promise.

    Betty isn't sure what to expect when she and Henry go on a date, but the evening does not begin well, as Betty attempts a sexy manoeuvre with some ice cream. Fortunately they've arranged to double up with Hilda and Gio at a club and it's there that Gio begins to realise he has feelings for Betty. Meanwhile, Daniel and Alexis decide to settle their quest for leadership of Meade with a paintball contest.

  • Episode 11/18 Zero Worship

    Betty despairs when she sees how a group of students on a publishing field trip abandon their lunchboxes when confronted by the size zero models at Mode. So she suggests to Justin that this year's fashion show feature ordinary women. When it comes to the press launch, however, Alexis and Justin tamper with the scales. Meanwhile, Amanda visits a psychic in the hopes of gaining some insight into her father's identity.

  • Episode 12/18 Odor in the Court

    Betty sprays on some of Claire's perfume, but while Henry is enchanted, it has a more alarming effect on Betty. Over at the courthouse, Alexis and Daniel are on a break when a man approaches them and asks if they can change a $20 bill. But when Daniel helps out the moment is caught on camera, and Daniel is accused of bribery.

  • Episode 13/18 A Thousand Words by Friday

    Daniel thinks he's really struck it lucky when he hits it off with a beautiful woman at one of Henry's gigs. But his enthusiasm turns to horror when he discovers Renée is Wilhemina's little sister. Betty is also coping with rising anxiety levels, as she has been asked to write a thousand words about author Phil Roth. Not the prize-winning writer, but the brains behind Tap That, How To Score with Hot Bitches.

  • Episode 14/18 Twenty Four Candles

    Betty has elaborate plans for her 24th birthday celebrations, the highlight of which will be a romantic trip with Henry to the Poconos Mountains. How disappointing then to discover that Charlie is in town for a baby seminar and is staying at Henry's. As usual Betty gives way, cancels the trip and takes herself into work instead. Unfortunately Daniel has forgotten all about her birthday, being far too preoccupied with the sinister hints Wilhelmina has been dropping about Renée's past.

  • Episode 15/18 Burning Questions

    Renee is slowly but steadily losing her grip on reality and has become convinced that Betty is in love with Daniel. But Christina and Betty have been doing some snooping and discover a file that implicates Renee in the death of her college professor. Will Daniel be next? Meanwhile, Hilda is horrified when Gina becomes a salon customer and uses the opportunity to boast to Hilda about her wealthy husband.

  • Episode 16/18 Betty's Baby Bump

    Betty decides to make peace with Charlie and organises a baby shower, but the event descends into chaos when Charlie's waters break. Elsewhere, Hilda is concerned about Justin's performance at gym class so she decides to confront his coach, and is surprised by how attractive he is. Meanwhile, Daniel tries to get over Renee by sleeping around and, when he is finally persuaded to see a psychiatrist, ends up sleeping with her as well.

  • Episode 17/18 The Kids Are Alright

    Betty finally accepts that she and Henry are not meant to be but Gio is still there for her, and she realises they could have a future together. Back at the office, Wilhelmina is up to her old tricks, looking for ways to undermine Alexis and Daniel, and manages to manipulate her way into the job of creative director.

  • Episode 18/18 Jump

    Gio tries to persuade Betty to come with him to Italy for a month, but while Betty is still making up her mind, Henry reappears and proposes to her. This unexpected turn of events makes an impression on Hilda, who throws caution to the wind and tells Coach Diaz how she feels about him. Meanwhile, the staff of Mode warm up for a charity softball tournament against rival ELLE, whose star player is none other than Naomi Campbell.
