  • Episode 1/12 Pilot

    Six Degrees Series One Pilot The key players are introduced: there's Laura, a mother in mourning, then Whitney, a career woman who suspects her boyfriend of infidelity. Steven is a photographer who fears he's lost his artistic touch, while Damian can't break his ties with his criminal brother. Meanwhile, Carlos is a caring lawyer with a crush on Mae, who's haunted by her troubled past. What effect will they have on each other's lives?

  • Episode 2/12 What Are the Odds?

    Carlos ignores his colleagues' concerns and defends a man charged with attempted murder. Mae begins working as a babysitter for Laura, allowing the grieving mother to go out to work for a noted interior designer. Pushing ahead with her nuptials despite her reservations about fiancé Roy, Whitney offers Steven a job as her wedding photographer. Meanwhile, Damian saves a life.

  • Episode 3/12 A New Light

    Laura has second thoughts about collecting an award on her late husband's behalf after receiving an anonymous tape about him through the post. She is later horrified when Roy makes a pass at her during a party he organised for Whitney. Meanwhile, Steven feels uncomfortable dating a younger woman, Carlos's client loses faith in him, and Mae is asking a lot of questions about her mother.

  • Episode 4/12 The Puncher

    Damian and his girlfriend Regina double date with Carlos and Mae, but Damian recognises Mae and warns Carlos off her. Carlos challenges Mae but she refuses to be drawn on her past. Laura wonders whether to tell Whitney about Roy's behaviour. Steven has a row with ex-wife Christine about his right to spend time with son Max. Roy falls victim to a serial offender whose attacks are anything but random.

  • Episode 5/12 Masquerade

    Carlos offers to help Mae after Damian tells him what little he knows about her past. But after a recent meeting with her brother Eric, Mae's response is guarded at first. Laura helps Whitney deal with the fallout from ending her relationship with Roy, and Whitney invites her to a Halloween party. Steven feels unwell as he takes Max trick or treating, leading to a row with Anya.

  • Episode 6/12 What You Wish For

    Steven looks after Max while Christine is away, but the time together seems to drive father and son apart rather than bring them closer together. The situation isn't helped by Whitney offering Steven a job working for Vanity Fair. JT sacks her current assistant and promotes Laura to do the job instead. Regina is overjoyed when Damian proposes, but is crushed when he later tells her about his violent past.

  • Episode 7/12 Slings and Arrows

    Laura's first date since her husband's death is going well until she and her companion Andrew go to a gallery. There she's shocked to find a picture of herself included in Steven's photography exhibition. Meanwhile, Whitney finds herself forced to work alongside Roy when she discovers he has acquired one of her clients, and Carlos finds out about Damian's involvement in the shooting.

  • Episode 8/12 Get a Room

    Laura, Whitney, Carlos and Mae are all looking for new properties. Whitney is determined to take it slow when she meets the charming Todd, but her good intentions fall by the wayside. Mae can't decide what she wants out of her relationship with Carlos. And Anya is reintroduced to her old flame Lucas. Will she decide to give him another chance, or stick with current lover Steven?

  • Episode 9/12 Sedgewick's

    Whitney's father Henry, a property developer, intends to demolish local landmark Sedgewick's. Unfortunately it's a place that holds special memories for Laura in connection with her late husband, and her relationship with Whitney becomes strained. Feeling lonely and vulnerable after his break-up with Anya, Steven turns to his former wife Christine. Meanwhile, Damian feels drawn to a client's girlfriend. Guest-starring John Ventimiglia and Carey Lowell.

  • Episode 10/12 Ray's Back

    The past returns to haunt Whitney. Years ago, she struck a deal with her friend Ray - if they were both still single at the age of 35, they would marry each other. Now an extremely wealthy man, Ray has come to New York to propose. Meanwhile, Carlos has an interview at a prestigious law firm, and Damian is also forced to consider a career change.

  • Episode 11/12 Surstromming or a Slice

    Laura and Steven discover there's potential for them to be more than just colleagues as they work together on interior design plans for Ray's new office building. But Ray could throw a spanner in the works when he gets the impression Whitney cares about Steven. Damian pulls some strings to get Carlos a new job, and Mae is intrigued to find out about a woman who might just be her mother.

  • Episode 12/12 Objects in the Mirror

    Steven and Laura's relationship is blossoming, but there are dark clouds on the horizon. Whitney's agreed to go away on holiday with Ray, but it seems she's still harbouring feelings for Steven. With two women keen to date him, who will Steven choose? Meanwhile, Carlos and Mae are drawn to each other once again, but Mae's insecurities threaten to ruin their love.
