Superintendent Sandra Pullman heads up UCOS - the Metropolitan Police Force's Unsolved Crime and Open Case Squad - in this amiable police drama. Under Pullman's watchful eye are three middle-aged cops who've been persuaded out of early retirement. Although the trio have trouble getting to grips with the workings of the modern, politically correct, Met, their shared sense of justice is as strong as ever, and their no-nonsense methods often get results.
