Overview
Meet the crew of "Firefly" class spaceship Serenity. Smuggling, thieving and running from the law is their way of life. But world-weary captain Mal is cursed with a conscience. Alongside first mate Zoe, he fought on the losing side of a war between the self-governing Independents and the victorious Alliance, who sought to bring every planet under their control. So it's perhaps not entirely surprising he should offer siblings Simon and River sanctuary as they flee the Feds. One thing's for sure, though. Having two fugitives aboard won't make the crew's complicated lives any easier…
