Episode 1/24 For Warrick

In this follow-up to the For Gedda episode we return to the moment Warrick was shot. Grissom rushes to his colleague's aid but is too late to save him. The team is stunned but immediately get to work hunting for the killer. Grissom is suspicious of McKeen, the under-sheriff who was already at the scene when Grissom came running, and when he investigates Mckeen's version of events he discovers the officer must be lying.

An unashamedly sombre and tearstained episode heralds the start of the ninth series of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as the team learns of the death of Warrick Brown.

There's a manhunt - for the wrong man - but really it matters little who was responsible; this is all about Warrick, his friends and their final farewell. They do him proud.
