Overview
Quirky spin-off from popular legal drama The Practice, featuring an Emmy Award-winning cast. Boston law firm Crane, Poole & Schmidt is populated by lawyers as weird and wonderful as the clients and cases they take on. Senior partner Denny Crane (William Shatner) is bigoted, narcissistic and lascivious, while his best friend Alan Shore (James Spader) is always willing to test the law - and morality - to the limit. Denny's old flame Shirley Schmidt (Candice Bergen) brings order to the chaos, fending off his advances and striving to keep Alan under control.
