Angelo's
Overview
Angelo's is one of those instantly recognisable Italian cafés. Located just off London's Trafalgar Square, with its best days behind it, it's frequented by an oddball assortment of regulars whose lives form the basis of this sitcom. Popping in for a daily cappuccino is mime artist Kris in his gold C-3P0 outfit; cabbie Shelley, who's looking for love and lets all her male passengers know it; and broody WPC Karen. Presiding over the comings and goings is proprietor - and ardent royalist - Angelo, with just a little help from his stage-struck teenage daughter Maria.
