Andromeda
Overview
US sci-fi series based on material by Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry. When his sentient starship the Andromeda Ascendant is caught in the event horizon of a black hole, Captain Dylan Hunt (Kevin Sorbo) is transported three centuries into the future. The peaceful and prosperous galactic alliance known as the Systems Commonwealth is no more, destroyed by civil war. Determined to restore harmony to a factious and unenlightened universe, Dylan enlists the aid of the ragtag crew of the salvage vessel Eureka Maru, and sets out on a mission to unite the warring races and rebuild his beloved Commonwealth.
