Review

Danny Robins is a familiar name to Radio 4 comedy fans. He often pops up as a guest, has fronted his own show and is a co-creator of The Museum of Everything. This third series of his sitcom does not disappoint. Lenny Henry is back as the middle-aged obsessively tidy son, Adam, living with his laid-back record shop-owning father, Rudy.

This is character comedy at its best, where flaws make for fun. And there’s a superb, if lengthy, joke about a nun playing darts with Jocky Wilson and Eric Bristow.

Summary

The father and son comedy set in a record shop in Birmingham returns. Rudy and Doreen continue to enjoy married life, much to the annoyance of his son Adam and Rudy's best friend Clifton. Comedy, starring Lenny Henry, Larrington Walker and Claire Benedict. First aired in 2012.
