British folk singer John Foreman reflects on music, mortality and life in the city as he picks through a lifetime of memorabilia while clearing out his North London home. Now aged 85 - and recovering from a recent stroke - John shares memories of his childhood in the Blitz, working as a teacher, a busker and a Punch-and-Judy man, and his career as `the Broadsheet King'. He also looks back on some of his most cherished songs, bursting into hearty renditions as the mood takes him.
