Can't Take My Eyes Off You

Series 17 - Episode 3 Can't Take My Eyes Off You

Frankie Valli, the American singer and writer of the 1967 hit Can't Take My Eyes Off You, recalls that one of his most treasured memories was performing the song to a crowd of Vietnam War veterans. Former astronaut Christopher Ferguson reveals how he used the song as an early-morning wake-up call on board the space shuttle Endeavour, and composer Bob Gaudio explains how the tune began life as a melody written for a children's nursery rhyme in a room overlooking New York's Central Park. From 2013.
