Venice really is one of the few cities on earth that can genuinely be called unique – and it’s also stunningly beautiful. You can’t walk for more than a few minutes without having to stop to admire one of its hundreds of churches, a grand canal-side house or simply a stunning view that only Venice can provide.
Its main attractions are legendary – St Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Doge's Palace and the Grand Canal – but venture into the back streets and you will be rewarded with sights of the city’s quieter side where children play in the streets and locals do their shopping. It is a city bursting with amazing churches, beautiful buildings and art masterpieces by Canaletto, Tintoretto and Carpaccio. This unique city awaits you.
