The city of Chopin, Copernicus and Pope John Paul II, royal capital of Poland for 500 years, Krakow is without doubt one of the most beautiful cities you will ever see and ranks alongside Prague and Vienna as one of the architectural gems of central Europe.
The city boasts an amazing number of historically interesting buildings – over 6,000! – as well as 18 museums, one of Europe’s oldest universities, more than 140 beautifully decorated churches, over two million works of art, and a magnificent medieval square that is the second largest in Europe. Will four days be enough to see everything? There is also the option of visiting the Second World War concentration camps of Auschwitz and Birkenau for a sobering and thought-provoking history lesson.
The price of this holiday is per person, based on two people sharing a twin room. Single rooms are subject to availability at a supplement of £109 per person.
